体育健康教育是以体育学科的主要特点、内容为主体的教育体系,是体育和现代健康教育的有机融合,是现代社会对体育提出的客观要求。随着新课程标准的实施,体育健康教育成为新的体育教学理念,体育教学应使学生接受健康教育、自我完善和实现个体社会化的有效途径。学校体育教育应向健康教育和培养学生终身锻炼的方向转变,应从社会发展的实际需要和体育健康教育的内在规律出发,全面理解体育健康教育的思想体系。

Physical health education is an educational system inclusive of the main features and content of P. E. science. It is also the integration of physical education and health education and the requirement of the modern world for sports. With the implementation of new curriculum standards, physical health education becomes a new concept in physical education. Physical education should become a way for students to receive health education and achieve self - improvement and individual socialization. Physical education in a school should be directed to physical health education and to the training of students＇life - long exercise. Considering the actual demand of the development of society and the internal laws of physical health education, a thorough understanding of physical health education is needed.
