This paper makes a thorough analysis of ＂ Ghost＂ cultures in China and Western countries, from its definitions, images to the values, from its distinctive presentations of the relation between the human and ＂ Ghost＂ to unique religion complexes in ＂ Ghost＂ literature, from its typical ceremonies to culture-abounded ＂ Ghost＂ festivals, in a bid to be meaningful to the intercommunication of heterogeneous cultures.
