Taking a project for hospital as research background, the article provides the realized solution for hospital decision support based on data warehouse and OLAP. The application data warehouse technique solves the hospital embarrassed situation of data plentiful but information needy. By using OLAP technique, the analyzed data is discovered quickly from different viewpoints and layers, and it provides power basis for the accurate and fast decision support.
