Strengthening Awareness in Eight Aspects to Improve the Comprehensive Qualities of Management Staff in Universities and Colleges

胡锦涛总书记在十七大报告中提出的"优先发展教育","提高高等教育质量"的战略思想,进一步明确了教育在经济和社会发展中的重要地位和高等教育现阶段的主要任务。如何提高高等教育质量,实现高校又好又快发展,对高校管理干部提出了更高的要求,因此必须强化八种意识,促进高校管理干部队伍综合素质的提高。

In his report to the 17th National Congress of CPC, General Secretary Hu Jintao put forward the strategy of ＂giving priority to the development of education＂ and ＂improving the quality of higher education＂, further eonfirning the significant role of education in economic and social development and the present main tasks of higher education. How to improve the quality of higher education and realize its sound and fast development has raised higher demand on the management at school level. Since the quality of personnel is always the crucial factor in school management, this essay proposes strengthening their awareness in eight aspects to enhance their comprehensive qualities.
