Comparison between type HO5RN-F cabtyre cable in DIN VDE 0282 and type 245IEC57 （YZW） cabtyre cable in GB 5013-1997 showed great difference in performance and testing. This paper presents the selection, formulation and process of rubber insulating and sheathing compounds in the practical production from the fact that type H05RN-F cabtyre cable complies with the specification DIN VDE 0282 and EU＇s directive RollS.
