The article elaborated a few problems which are often encountered in the process of designing of smoke control and extraction in residence underground garage, including division of fire prevention area and smoke control zone, determination of air quantity of exhaust and intake, type selection of fan, fan room arrangement, installation position of firedamper and smoke outlets and smoke control and extraction system.
