With the palm oil production rose steadily in the past years, its price also created new high record, several causes have led to current situation, such as high price of crude oil in worldwide caused palm oil price to rise simultaneously, huge demand and consumption of edible oil and oleochemicals need more and more palm oil supplied as material, and biofuel production and consumption＇s worldwide sharply rising made shortage of vegetable oil. With this background, the development trend of oleochemical industry will face more difficulties and uncertainties, the basic oleochemicals, represented by fatty acid, fatty alcohol, glycerol, methyl ester,will suffer high cost of production, so new technology and innovation will be more important to support the customer value.
