Reconsidering about Sources of Comparative Advantage and China's Economic Development Strategy Based on RHO Model

RHO模型整合国际经济学两大基石理论:Ricardian理论与HO理论,全面揭示比较优势来源,更为合理、准确、令人信服地解释国际分工与贸易模式。本文在分析RHO出现的必然性、剖析相关研究之后,推导出适合解释我国对外贸易模式的产业层次贸易流动的RHO模型。我们认为源于多种因素(包括制度因素)作用的生产率与要素禀赋共同形成的比较优势决定分工基础及贸易流动,并据此探析了我国开放经济发展模式与战略。

Integrating two fundamental theories of international economies-Ricardian model and HO model, RHO model comprehensively reveals sources of comparative advantage and convincingly explains the pattern of international specialization and trade. After analyzing the necessity as well as other studies of RHO theories, the authors develop a model to illustrate that comparative advantage from productivity and factor endowments determines international industry trade flows. Therefore, it also provides some advice for formulating China economy development strategy in the international environment.
