论历史时期民族地理研究的学科属性

The Discipline Attribute of the National Geography Study in Historical Period

某一学科的属性由其研究的对象和内容决定,将历史时期民族地理研究称为历史民族地理学,并视之为历史地理学的分支学科是合理的。在研究的对象与内容上,民族历史地理学与历史民族地理学都没有区别,将历史时期民族地理研究另行称为民族历史地理学没有必要,把民族历史地理学上升为一门独立的新兴学科是不妥当的。历史民族地理学不仅研究人文地理现象,也研究自然地理现象,将民族历史地理学上升为独立的新兴学科的依据并不成立。

The attributes of one subject is decided by the object and contents which to be researched. According to this, it is reasonable to refer to the study of national geography in historical period as the Historical National Geography, and consider it as a branch of the Historical Geography. In object and contents, there are no differences between National Historical Geography and Historical National Geography. It is unnecessary to take the study of national geography in historical period as National Historical Geography, and the National Historical Geography as a new independent subject is not appropriate. Because the Historical National Geography does not only study the phenomenon of human geography but also study the phenomenon of physical geography, National Historical Geography will be up for the independent new discipline is unreasonable.
