针对重庆工学院局域网管理的实际需要,在对SNMP协议、基于Web的网络管理模式进行研究的基础上,设计了基于SNMP协议的网络管理系统,以实现网络故障管理、配置管理和性能分析等功能.介绍了网络管理模型、SNMP协议的基本原理和系统的总体结构及各模块功能.在实际使用中表明了该系统性能良好.

With the fast development of the computer technology and communication technology, LAN has become a hot application. In view of the actual needs of the network management, and on the basis of studying about SNMP protocol and the Web-Based management （WBM） mode, a SNMP-Based network manage system is designed, and the function of network fault management, confignration and performance analysis are achieved. Besides, network management model, basic principles of SNMP protocol and system overall structure and the ftmctions of various modules are introduced. Actual application indicates that the system has good performance.
