The rule of the editorial compilation and publication of U.S. regulations was introduced briefly, while the arrangement and codification manners of the Official Grade Standards for Tobacco was elucidated in the editorial compilation of the Federal regulations. The concepts of the classes, types and groups of grades in U.S. Official Grade Standards for Tobacco were reviewed in detail, as well as the foundation, rule and feature. Significance of the classification and typification in China Grade Standards for Tobacco was discussed.
