A microcomputerized coulometric cyanide analyzer is reported. The analyzer consists of an in-line separator, a coulometer, a recorder and a microprocesser. This paper discusses the requirements on the amplifier, the output signal inverter and the hardware The functions of the software are discussed in detail. The measure- ment range is between 0. 001 mg/1 to 10g/1. Standard recovery is 95--105%. Separation and determination of cyanide can be completed with one single injection. Pretreatment of samples by distillation is not needed.
