The Virtual Speed in Dynamic Explicit FEM Simulation for Multi-stand Roll Forming

摘要 为保证多道次辊弯成形仿真的计算精度并提高计算效率,研究了虚拟成形速度对计算精度和计算效率的影响.与现有文献的实验数据进行对比,通过系统能量分配原理给出确定合理虚拟成形速度的准则,并以实际生产中的10道次辊弯成形冷弯型钢的动态仿真算例验证了该准则的有效性. FEM is an efficient tool for improving the product quality and optimizing design of roll forming. However, the FEM technique is a time consuming tool for multi-stand roll forming, which restricts its application in engineering. To ensure its computing precision and improve computing efficiency, this paper studied the effect of roll's virtual speed in dynamic explicit FEM simulation for multi-stand roll forming. Based on the experimental data in the literature and energy distributing theory, a virtual speed selecting rule was proposed. Finally, the validity of this rule was verified by applying it to the simulation of a 10- stand roll forming process.
