This article is intended to foresee the outlook for the development of the chiral stationary phase in HPLC by reviewing the history of the chiral stationary phase in HPLC and introducing the development of such chiral stationary phases as chloroform, Pirkle-type, Ligand Exchange, Macrocyclic Antibiotics, Polysaccharide, Cyclodextrin, Molecularly Imprinted Polymer, protein and chiral polymers in 2006-2007.
