摘要
目的:研究人口腔鳞状细胞癌中信号转导子和转录激活子3(STAT3)蛋白的表达情况,探讨其表达与口腔鳞癌临床病理因素间的关系。方法:采用免疫组织化学SABC法检测42例口腔鳞癌和癌前病变组织中STAT3蛋白的表达。利用自动图像分析仪定量分析STAT3的相对含量(灰度)。结果:口腔鳞癌组织中STAT3蛋白表达水平明显高于癌前病变组织(P<0.01),STAT3蛋白在高中低分化鳞癌组中的平均灰度值组间差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。肿瘤分化程度越高STAT3蛋白表达越低。Ⅲ、Ⅳ期口腔鳞癌STAT3蛋白表达水平高于Ⅰ、Ⅱ期(P<0.01)。结论:STAT3蛋白的表达可能影响着口腔鳞癌的发生、发展,并与其分化程度及临床分期有关。
Objective: To investigate the expression of signal transducers and activators of transcription 3 ( STAT3 ) in the human oral squamous cell carcinoma and to evaluate the relationship between protein level and clinicopatholagical parameters. Methods: The immunohistochemistry SABC was used to detect the expression of STAT3 in human oral squamous cell carcinoma and precancerous lesion. The automatic image analyser was used to analyse the gray scale of the STAT3. Result: STAT3 protein level significantly increased in squamous cell carcinoma tissue compared with precancerous lesion (P 〈 0.01 ). There were statistical differences in the average gray scale between different differentiated cancers of STAT3 protein (P 〈 0.05 ). The expression of STAT3 was higher in poor -differentiated cancers than in well -differentiated cancers. Protein level of STAT3 in the stage Ⅲ and stage Ⅳ carcinomas was higher than that in stage Ⅰ and stage Ⅱ carcinomas (P 〈 0.01 ). Conclusion: Overexpression of STAT3 may play an important role in the tumorgenesis, development and the clinical stage of the human oral squamous cell carcinoma.
