摘要
上世纪40年代李健吾先生根据莎士比亚的《麦克白》改编而成的《王德明》是当时戏剧界改编外国名剧的上乘之作。改编剧在保留原作人物基本性格和相互关系的基础上,将剧情的环境置于我国的五代十国时期,使得这部改编剧与中国观众的文化知识和审美心理有了某种程度的吻合。可以说,《王德明》这部悲剧是李健吾着意选择中国历史记载中类似人事作为移花接木的基础加以创造而铸就的民族化艺术品。
In the 1940s, Wang Deming, adapted by the famous dramatist Li Jianwu from Shakespeare's Macbet, was the outstanding one of his many adapted plays. Adapting play kept the essential personality and relationship of the original characters, and emplaced the environment in Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties and the Ten States ( 907-960 ) of ancient China. All of these dovetailed with the cultural knowledge and aesthetic feeling of Chinese audiences. In a word, in choosing the similar people and events in recorded history as the basic of his adaptation, Li Jianwu made the tragedy Wang Deming a nationalized artwork by his creation.
