2008年9月29日，北京奥运会、残奥会总结表彰大会在人民大会堂举行，青岛市12集体、10人受全国表彰。中共青岛市委副书记、市长、奥帆委主席夏耕代表协办城市发言。同日，中共山东省委、省政府召开大会，隆重表彰山东省为北京奥运会、残奥会成功举办做出贡献的先进集体、先进个人和参加北京残奥会的获奖人员及有功单位，青岛市有22个单位被授予“山东省北京奥运会、残奥会先进集体”称号，

On October 10, 2008, a summarization and commendation meeting of the Olympic Regatta and the Paralympic Regatta was held at Qingdao People＇s Meeting Hall, which made an overall summarization of the work of the Olympic Regatta and the Paralympic Regatta as well as the work of fighting against enteromorpha prolifera, and ceremoniously praised the nearly 1,000 collectives, individuals and volunteers that made remarkable contributions to the Olympic sailing competitions held in Qingdao.
