This eassay discus- ses allusion feature in MAO Ze - dong＇s poems from the perspective of allusion classification and vertical comparison. In the first part, MAO Zedong＇ s allusion are divided into three kinds. They are the usage of ancient poems, myth and old sayings. In the second part, MAO Ze -dong＇ s allusion feature are compared with CAO Cao and XIN Qi - ji＇ s allusion feature to show the heroic quality of MAO Ze - dong＇ s allusion.
