孟子的孝道思想是中华民族道德遗产的重要组成部分,有着重要的理论价值和现实意义。孟子继承了孔子的孝道思想,又进行了新的拓展。其具体内涵包括对父母生时的奉养,对父母死后的丧祀,娶妻生子以延续香火三个方面。孟子的孝道思想已成为中华民族的一种传统伦理道德观念,有糟粕,也有合理内核。他的孝道思想对《孝经》产生了很大的影响,其合理内核对于我们今天建立现代家庭伦理关系,具有积极意义。
