罗素论归纳问题

Russell on Inductive Problem

归纳问题是罗素哲学中一个十分重要的问题。罗素对归纳问题的合理性的逻辑解决方案分前后两个时期。前期即"归纳法原则",后期即非证明推理的"科学推理的公设"学说。尽管罗素没有解决归纳问题,其学说在哲学上却有重要影响。罗素提出的归纳问题合理性在逻辑学范围提供根据是不可能的观点,对最终从其他角度去解决归纳问题,无疑是一大不可磨灭的贡献。

Inductive problem is an important one of Russell＇s philosophy. This paper mainly studies Russell＇s idea of inductive problem, and holds that there are two periods of his scheme of the answers to the rationality of inductive problem, i.e. the prophase of the principle of induction and the anaphase of scientific and inferential hypothesis. Although Russell hasn＇t resolved the problem, his theory is very important in philosophic history. The idea that it is impossible to give an answer to the rationality of inductive problem in logic is no doubt an indelible contribute to ultimately resolve it by other ways.
