The importance of constructing the safe- ty precaution system in oil depots is summarized. The construction of the safety precaution system is proposed from five aspects,i.e.the attention of leaders,perfect organization and scientific pro- gramrning,elaborate construction and all staff par- ticipation,improving qualities and establishing reg- ulation,firm implementation and careful examina- tion,effective modification.
