Discussion on the civil dwelling and environment of western Hu'nan

对湘西山地民居进行了分析,从湘西山地民居的类型、布局以及湘西人的民居环境观三方面进行了研究,指出湘西山地民居古朴粗犷、取材方便、依山就势、灵活多样,是中国民居建筑不可忽视的宝贵遗产。

The civil dwelling of western Hu＇nan was analyzed, and the type, layout and the dwelling environmental concept of we.stem Hu＇ nan were researched. It pointed that the civil dwelling of western Hu＇nan simple and unsophisticated, easy to take material, be surrounded by mountains and flexible, which was assignable and valuable estate for Chinese dwelling building.
