灵祐禅师是佛教禅宗沩仰宗创始人,人称沩山灵祐,其禅学思想,以"镜智"为宗要、以"无思"为禅道、以"理事不二"为中心。其禅学主要特点是圆融:圆融南禅各派、圆融南北禅。

Zen Master Ling-You was the founder of the Wei-Yang-Zen Buddhism, and he was named Wei Shan Ling-you, the Zen Buddhism thought takes on the ＂wise like a mirror＂ as the key, the ＂free thinking＂ as the road to Zen, and ＂the principle and the thing does not belong to two parts＂ as the center. The main feature of his Zen is its flexiblity and harmony, which integrated the factions of Southern Zen Buddhism and the Northern and Southern Zen Buddhism.
