武汉城市圈两型社会建设是党的十七大之后国家确立的首个试验区,是以资源节约型和环境友好型作为建设主题,全面落实科学发展观,推进经济又好又快发展。但是,目前没有现成的模式可供借鉴,这就要求我们积极探索,大胆创新。为此,笔者进行了广泛深入的调查研究,找出了面临的一些问题与挑战,提出了应对策略。

The construction of the resource-saving and environment-friendly society in Wuhan metropolitan region which with the theme of resource-saving and en-vironment -friendly, is the first experimentation re-gion after the Party’s spirits of 17th CPC National Congress and fully implemented the scientific concept of development to boost the economy with well and rapid development. But without ready pattern to learn now, weneed to be actively exploring and boldly innovating. So, based on the broad intensive investigation, the au-thor finds some problems and challenge and brings for-ward some strategies.
