Brothers Karamazov is a swan song by the great Russian writer Dostoevsky. The novel describes a tragedy of the rep- resentative thinker Ivan, which demonstrates that when rationality is not only a special cognition method but an almighty spirit rule and even the living itself, the admirers of rationality might lose the ordinary reason and are led to the hollow soul. In this sense, Dostoevsky refuses any rationalized moral, historical or political salvation programs and returns to the God who shows the freedom, love and harmony. It can be concluded that the writer' s ultimate concern is to rebuild the origin living state and regain the inner spirit faith.
