试论H31类目的增删并改

Discussion on the adding and canceling of Classification H31

英语类图书是许多图书馆的重点收藏之一,随着此类图书的发展变化,加上分类人员类分图书时的不同理解,造成H31类部分图书无法恰当入类或同书异类的情况。文章根据实际工作情况,针对《中国图书馆分类法》(第四版)H31类目在类目设置方面存在的一些问题进行了分析,提出了增加专业英语类目,删减习题试题类目,合并水平考试类目,增改类目注释等修改建议。

English books have become the emphasis in book-collection in many libraries. With the great change of this kind of books and different understanding of the librarians about classification of this kind of books, some books of H31 can not properly classified. Based on the working experience, aiming at the analysis of the existing problems in the allocation of the category of H31 in Chinese Library Classification （fourth edition）, the author proposes some suggestions： adding the subject heading of English major, merging the subject heading of proficiency tests with the subject heading of compilations of English tests, and adding some revised classification annotations.
