Pursuing the Interaction and Mixture in an Open State——On the Development of Theories of the Essence of Fiction from Bakhtin’s Theories

巴赫金以语言为切入点,将社会现实生活与语言紧密结合起来,认为小说的语言是被社会现实生活化了的。实际上,他把小说等同为一种现实生活化的语言形式,认为小说具有杂语性和开放性两个特点。巴赫金小说本质理论体现了小说本质理论的一种发展趋向:追求开放中的互动与融合。

Starting with language, Bakhtin＇s study connected the social reality with language. He held that the language in fiction was made close to the social reality. In fact, he considered fiction as a kind of language which was equal to the social reality, which had the features of being mixed and open. Bakhtin＇s theory on the essence of fiction represents the tendency in the development of the theories of the essence of fiction. That is to pursue the interaction and mixture in an open state.
