Invisible Man is considered to be one of the best works since the Second World War. The paper concentrates on the work itself and studies it in terms of narratology and reveals some important internal structural features of the work. The narrative strategies such as the first-person narration, speech presentation and the narrator-narratee relationship help to develop the theme of Invisible Man, which exhibits the narrator's development in his search for his identity, from blackness to light, from ignorance to enlightenment.
