Environmental Protection Design in the Bingzhou Waters of Central East Sea Improvement Project in Xiamen

厦门市环东海域综合整治工程丙洲海域工程的清淤、吹填造地设计,通过采用环保型绞吸式挖泥船,并在造地区外建造带拦泥帘的储泥砂池,利用池塘梗、围堰延长吹填区泄水流径、增加沿程沉淀等措施减轻了施工对水环境和生态环境的影响,满足了环境保护的要求,为类似工程的设计、施工提供借鉴。

Cutter suction dredgers are used in the dredging and reclamation of Bingzhou waters which belongs to central east sea comprehensive improvement project in Xiamen, Reserve sediment ponds with preventing silt curtains are built outside the land reclamation regions, which extends the discharge flow path in reclamation district and increases the precipitation along the way. These measures reduce the effect of construction on water environment and ecological en- vironmental. The measures could be taken as reference to the design and construction of similar projects in the future.
