Du Fu was one of the greatest poets in Tang Dynasty. He was spoken approvingly of throughout the ages for his broad-mindedness, his tenacious life attitude and his caring for reality and the hardships of the people. His creation had great influence on the literature of later ages. The poets in later generations inherited and imitated his various creational forms, his gathering together all that is good and his peculiarity in art. Especially the visual contrast in his poems expressed his gloomy creational characteristics and the rhythm and cadence of his poems. Therefore, we readers can enjoy the subtlety and magnificence from his poems.
