稀土在生产和排放过程中形成的原矿、精矿、尾矿和矿渣都含有一定量的汞、铅和钍。通过对各种稀土矿样中汞、铅和钍含量的测定,以及对钍放射性比活度的推算,这3种物质会对人体健康构成威胁,如处理不当会污染自然环境。生产单位应加强监测和管理,防止对人群造成危害,以及污染周边环境。

Rare earth original mine,final mine,tailing mine and scoria were formed in the course of produce and letting. They all had Hg- Pb- Th. By determining Hg- Pb- Th contents in any mine example, and ealeulating specifie activity of Th, they would make menace to flesh health, and pollute the nature environment ff it was disposed. Manufacture unit should strengthen survey and manage,prevent working harm to public,and polluting environment all over.
