大学英语教学应凸显培养学生的语用能力

摘要 教育部《大学英语课程教学要求》指出,大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力。可是,大量事实证明大学生的语用能力偏低,究其原因,大学英语课堂教学中语用能力的培养未受到足够的重视。大学英语教学中那种重语言知识,轻语言运用的思想遇到了时代的挑战。从现代语言学、语用学和外语教育语言学的角度阐述了大学英语教学应凸显培养学生语用能力的重要性和必要性。 Ministry of Education College English Curriculum Requirements point out that the aim of college English teaching is to foster students' synthetic application competence for English…. However many facts show college students are weaker in pragmatic competence, that is to say, they can' t use English appropriately. The reason of it is that fostering students' pragmatic competence is neglected in college English teaching, but now the traditional teaching method has been challenged by the times. The article studies the importance and the necessity of fostering students' pragmatic competence for English from perspectives of modern linguistics, pragmatics and foreign language educational linguistics.
