With the increasing contact between PRC and other countries, English, as a major language, is playing an extremely important role. Nowadays, the government emphasizes on developing the higher vocational education. However, English teaching has not adapted well to this educational pattern. It needs careful analysis of current situation to find out the problems and try to overcome by improving teaching idea and teaching method.
