著名病毒学家黄祯祥教授传略

A Brief Career of Dr. Huang Zhen-xiang （1910-1987）

黄祯祥教授是世界著名的病毒学家，我国医学病毒学奠基人之一。他从事有关传染病学和病毒学方面的研究50余载，为人类的防病治病事业做出了卓越的贡献，于1987年3月24日辞世。

Professor Huang Zhen-xiang （C. H. Huang）, member of academy sinica, the pioneer Chinese virologist and immunologist, one of founders of the Chinese Medical Virology and the honorary director of the institute of virology, Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine spent his more than 50 brilliant years campaigning in the field of infectious disease and virology. The great scholor died of leukemia in 1986 at the age of 77 in Beijing on March 24, 1987. He was born in Gulang Yu of Xiamen city, Fujian provice.
