Design of the Automatic Whistle Controller with the EPROM

用EPROM存储器设计自动雾笛控制器,靠改变存储器数据容易实现各种不同的鸣笛周期和鸣笛时间要求,符合1972年《国际避碰规则》要求。该控制器克服了传统的控制器的缺点,经实船使用证明,其性能可靠。

An automatic whistle controller had been designed using EPROM with advantages of simple structure,timing accuracy and high reliability.This controller can realize different period and time of whistle by change the stored data to fit the requirements of the Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea（1972）.It can overcome the imperfections of traditional controllers.When it was used on aboard,the performance of this controller was confirmed satisfactorily.
