Treatment of peritrochanteric fractures of femur with Gamma nail

目的总结Gamma钉治疗股骨转子周围骨折临床经验。方法对Gamma钉治疗的79例股骨转子周围骨折患者进行回顾性分析。结果79例经12～50(25.3±9.2)个月随访,骨折临床愈合时间为(12.98±1.26)周。根据Merle Daubigne髋关节功能评分标准:优28例,良36例,中12例,差3例,优良率为81.0%。结论Gamma钉治疗股骨转子周围骨折具有切口暴露小、固定强度牢靠、创伤小等优点,是一种治疗股骨转子周围骨折行之有效的内固定方法。

Objective To summarize the clinical experience in application of Gamma nail for the treatment of peritrochanteric fractures of femur. Methods The retrospective study covered 79 patients who had undergone operations with Gamma nail. Results All cases were followed up for 12-50（25.3±9.2） months. Fracture union wzs obtained in all the patients in 12.98±1.26 weeks.According to Merle Daubigne criterion：excellent results were reported in 28 cases, good in 36, fair in 12, and poor in 3, the excellent and good rate was 81.0%. Conclusions The Gamma nail is associated with small wound. rigid fixation, and less operative trauma, which is a kind of effective and useful internal fixation device in the treatment of peritrochanteric fractures of femur.
