论土司地区族群边界的交错与维持——以广西壮族土司为例

On the Overlapping Boundaries of Ethnic Groups in the Tusi Area and its Maintenance: A Case Study of the Tusi of the Zhuang Nationality in Guangxi

广西壮族土司的辖地边界交错相参,其原因既有政治上的因素也有地缘和血缘的关系。在土司地区族群边界的维持过程中,伴随着民间流传的英雄历史观与兄弟情谊的有机结合,建构着土司地区社会人群的认同和区分体系,生成相互间彼此关联、如同手足、平等独立的族群关系,但同时又形成既是同盟又是对手的矛盾共同体。其间,合作、区分与对抗的特性,既统一在土司之间相对稳定的秩序之下,却又交织于错综复杂的关系网之中。

Due to political, geographical and consanguineous factors, there were overlapping boundaries of the territories of the Tusi of the Zhuang Nationalities in Guangxi. In the maintenance of such boundaries, the organic combination of the historical concept of folk heroes and brotherhood helped construct the group identity and division, and formed the interdependent, brother-like, equal and independent relations among the ethnic groups. Such features as cooperation, division and confrontation found expression both in the relatively stable order maintained by different Tusi groups and in their complicated connections.
