On Fitzgerald's Realism from the Great Gatsby

本文依据卢卡契的西方马克思主义文艺理论,对菲茨杰拉德的名著《了不起的盖茨比》进行文本审视。结合美国当时的社会历史背景来分析该书的故事情节和典型人物之后,认为作者在写作该书时表现出了鲜明的现实主义思想,其作品《了不起的盖茨比》是现实中"什么是美国梦"这一问题的最好答案。

Based on Lucacs＇ literature theory, the text of Fitzgerald＇s famous work--the Great Gatsby is analysed from its plots and typical characters under the social and historical background. It is found out that this work is a realism work, it is also the best answer to the question--what is a dream of American.
