The research of the professional development of contemporary teachers has become a hot issue in the international teacher education. The three reflective abilities -- zero reflective ability, passive reflective ability and active reflective ability -- have direct influence on the orientation and pace of teachers＇professional development. Active reflective ability can promote teachers＇professional development.
