农民是中国最大的社会群体,没有农民的现代化,就没有国家的现代化。要实现农民的现代化,首要是实现农民思想观念的现代化。而在当前农村建设的背景下,农民的思想观念、文化水平等方面与农村现代化的要求还存在着明显的差距。因此,必须引导和教育农民树立现代市场经济观念、法制观念、科学观念,使农民实现思想观念从传统向现代的转变。
