预设是语用学理论中一个重要的组成部分。语义预设通常从逻辑角度出发,研究命题的真值情况。语用预设则把语句同说话者的身份、社会地位等因素结合起来,在具体的语境中研究话语的意义。两者之间并没有本质的差别,而是存在一定的包容关系。

Presupposition is a constituent part of pragmatic theory. Semantic presupposition studies truth value of a proposition, from the perspective of logic. Combined with factors such as speaker＇s identity and social class, pragmatic presupposition studies the meaning of an utterance in a context. They don＇t differ from each other in nature. On the contrary, there is relationship of inclusion between them.
