VEGF和MMP-9在鼻咽癌中的表达及其与远处转移的关系 被引量:2

Expression of VEGF and MMP-9 in NPC and relationship between their expression levels and distant metastasis

摘要 目的研究VEGF和MMP-9在鼻咽癌中的表达及其与远处袭转移的关系,探讨VEGF与MMP-9之间的相关性。方法:采用免疫组化S-P法检测51例鼻咽癌存档石蜡组织VEGF、MMP-9的表达。结果鼻咽癌组织VEGF与MMP-9阳性表达率分别为72.5%和76.5%。经χ2检验,VEGF与MMP-9的表达均与鼻咽癌的N分期、颈淋巴结转移、临床分期密切相关(P<0.05)。经等级Spearman相关检验,VEGF表达与MMP-9表达呈正相关(P<0.01),且二者的表达与发生远处转移的时间呈负相关(P<0.01)。经Cox多因素分析,VEGF和MMP-9都是鼻咽癌发生远处转移的独立影响因素。结论VEGF和MMP-9可作为预测鼻咽癌发生远处转移的生物学指标。 Objective To study the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) and to evaluate the relationship between the expression levels of VEGF and MMP-9 and distant metastasis. Method SP immunohistochemistry was used to determine the expression of VEGF and MMP-9 in 51 NPC tissues. Results The positive rate of VEGF in NPC was 72. 5% ,while the positive rate of MMP-9 was 76. 5%. χ^2 test showed that their expression was closely correlated with N stage, cervical lymph node metastasis and clinical stage (P 〈 0. 05). Spearman correlation test showed that there was a positive correlation between the expression of VEGF and that of MMP-9 in NPC tissues(P 〈0. 01 ) ,and both VEGF and MMP-9 were negatively correlated with time of occurrence of distant metastasis( P 〈 0. 01 ). Cox multivariate analysis revealed that both VEGF and MMP-9 were independent factors influencing distant metastasis of NPC. Conclusions VEGF and MMP- 9 can serve as biomarkers for predicting the potentiality of distant metastasis of NPC.
