21世纪是知识经济和信息化的时代,数字资源建设已经成为评价一个图书馆信息资源建设的重要标志,也是数字图书馆建设的核心。因此,图书馆特色数据库建设就变得十分迫切和需要,它是数字图书馆开展信息服务最主要的信息资源。本文阐述了吉林省特色数据库建设的必要性、可行性,分析了吉林省特色数据库建设现状,提出了吉林省特色数据库建设的对策。

The 21st century is an era of knowledge economy and information, digital resources construction has already become an important sign of evaluating information resources construction in libraries, and also become the core of digital library construction. So the construction of library characteristic database is very urgent and necessary, it＇s the most important information resources using in information service. This paper states the necessity and feasibility of the characteristic database construction in Jilin province, analyses the status of construction and put forwards the strategy.
