建国后中国户籍制度的变迁状况

On the Changes of China Household Registration System since the Founding of PRC

现行的户籍制度是计划经济体制下的产物,户籍不是居住地点的象征与代表,而是身份与待遇的象征。它把公民人为地区分为"农业户口"与"非农业户口"两大类,从而严重影响和谐社会的构建,如何彻底改革户籍制度,实现公平正义,已迫在眉睫。

The current household registration system is the product of planed economy system, which is not the symbol of resident place, but the symbol of identity and treatment. The household registration system has separated the citizens into agricultural residents and non--agricultural residents, which has done a great harm to the construction of harmonious society. Therefore it is imperative to completely reformhousehold registration system so as to realize fairness and justice.
