Chengdou, with ‘3-concentrations＇ as its core, marketization as its impetus and standardized construction of service-oriented government and basic-level democratic politics as its assurance, has made active explorations on balancing urban-rural development of economy and society and promoting urban-rural integration since 2003. The practice explorations on balancing urban-rural development of Chengdou have brought much beneficiary enlightenment to the development of China＇s central and western regions.
