高校图书馆部主任的素质与能力直接关系着高校图书馆的服务水准和质量。现时图书馆部主任的素质与高校图书馆的服务水准普遍存在较大差距,客观上需要采取措施、更新观念、实施再教育、完善制度建设,有步骤地培养和提高部主任的素质与能力。
