试论大学英语教学中的美育渗透 被引量:1

摘要 在目前的大学英语教学中,将知识教育与审美教育割裂开来的情况很普遍,结果一篇好端端的文学作品被肢解为一个个句子和词组,使生动的艺术形象变为干巴巴的骨架,学生也就根本不懂什么是艺术形象和艺术境界,严重地削弱了英语教材的美感教育作用。大学英语教材中蕴含着丰富的审美教育素材,有自然美、人物形象美、科学美和艺术美等,教师应饱含激情地去启发、引导学生用心去体味、捕捉课文中的美,理解并接受其中美的意蕴。激发学生对美好事物的向往与追求,审美教育的核心也正在这里。语言教学与审美教育是互为依存、相辅相成的。当然,语言教学是主要的、根本的,不能以牺牲语言教学来迎合审美教育,那样只会是舍本逐末。我们提倡在完成语言教学任务的前提下进行审美教育,这样不但可以陶冶学生美的情操,也有利于学生智力的发展。 In our current English language teaching, it is aesthetic education, so that a great literary work will be cut very common to isolate knowledge education from into only sentences and phrases, a vivid artistic image will be a single skeleton, and the students know nothing .about the image and the state of art. All these have reduced the function of aesthetic education seriously in English language teaching material. However, the English textbooks of university contain much about aesthetic education, such as natural beauty, figure beauty, scientific beauty and artistic beauty. So teachers who are' filled with strong emotions should not only guide 'students to savor, catch and accept the beauty of the texts, but also stimulate students to yearn for and pursue the beautiful things. And that is the core of aesthetic education. Language teaching and aesthetic education depend on each other for existence and complement each other as well. But language teaching is of primary and basic importance. We can not cater to aesthetic education at the cost of language teaching, or we will attend to trifles and neglect essentials. Hence what we advocate is to perform aesthetic education in the presupposition of finishing of beauty language teaching tasks. If so, such teaching mode will benefit the edification of the students' sentiment and the development of their intelligence.
