中国需要新的教育哲学:从素质教育到生活教育

China Needs a New Educational Philosophy: From Quality Education to Life Education

我国基础教育中严重的"应试教育"弊端,显示当前的教育理论不足以解释和指导教育现实。中国的教育现代化,需要完成由"学科中心"到"生活中心"的实质性的转换,需要新的教育文化和教育哲学。陶行知创立的生活教育,是与我国国情相契合的民族的、科学的、大众的现代教育理论,对于矫治"应试教育",也具有很强的针对性,可以成为指导现实、面向未来的新的教育哲学。

The basic education in China has its serious defects, which is ＂examination-oriented education＂, showing that the current educational theory is insufficient to make an explanation of and guidance to the educational reality. China＇s education modernization needs the substantive conversion from the ＂subject-centre＂ to the ＂life-centre＂, and it needs a new concept of education culture and philosophy of education. The theory of life education established by Tao Xingzhi, is compatible with our national conditions, and this ethical, scientific and popular modem educational theory can pertinently correct ＂examination-oriented education＂ and become the practical and future-oriented guiding philosophy of new education.
