Reform Engineering Education and Build Up China's Strength in Engineering Education

2007年9月上海召开的"工程教育的改革与发展"高层论坛,对我国工程教育的现状、影响因素及其改革建议进行了专题讨论,对我国如何开展工程教育改革,保障和提升工程教育的质量,最终实现工程教育强国献计献策。本文即是该论坛综述。

A review is presented about the forum on the reform and development of engineering education held in Shanghai in September 2007. The forum included specific discussions on the state of China＇s engineering education, its factors of influence, and proposed reforms. Many suggestions were made for carrying out reforms in the nation＇s engineering education in order to ensure and raise its quality, and eventually strengthen China＇s engineering education.
