Food carving art is an important part of our culinary culture,it has witnessed the millennium development, prosperous recently. At the time when cuisine art is so prosperous, innovation of food carving techniques become more important than before. The paper starts with discussion on the problems existing in the development of contemporary food carving arts, and then it puts forward the concrete pattern of innovation which can lead it to a rational path of development.
